The Institution is regularly achieving 50% of Prathiba Awards allotted to the Prakasam District and the remaining 50% is shared by the 19 other polytechnics in Prakasam district. The students of the institute is getting state ranks regularly in all branches like state 1st in Automobile Engineering by Sajja Ravi Krishna 1984, B. Mallikarjuna Rao, DME in 1987 S. Ramesh, DAE in 1994 and being continuing the same quality at present. The students of the institution is getting placements in premier organizations like Ashok Leyland, Mando Brake Systems, Spicer India Ltd., Design Tribe Ltd., Nagarjuna Construction corporations and achieving Government posts in different completetive exams conducted by State government and Central Government. The alumni of the institute in premier positions all over india as well as different countries of abroad. Our institution is a head of all the institutes in sports and games and being marked as 1st Rankers in different games like, Volleyball, Badminton and particularly achieving land mark records in track events like 100 mtrs and 200 mtrs and long distance events like 1500 mtrs. Our students are particularly showing their capacity and enerty in throws like short put, Jawalin through and recognize as the premier institute in contributing well trained athlets.
